2018-19 NYHIMA New Graduate Membership Application

Please read, then proceed to the membership application.

NYHIMA New Graduate Members are defined as HIM professionals holding a valid AHIMA credential for less than one year.  NYHIMA extends the new graduate membership rate to any student who graduated from a formal certificate or degree granting program directly relevant to AHIMA’s purpose, including, but not limited to, CAHIIM accredited or PCAP/ACCP approved coding programs. A new graduate may retain this type of membership for one year after graduation from that program.

The New York Health Information Association (NYHIMA) is a Component State Association (CSA) of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).  Membership to NYHIMA is contingent upon your membership status with AHIMA.  To qualify for membership in NYHIMA you must first be a member of AHIMA.

NYHIMA New Graduate Member dues are $10 per year: (July 1-June 30)
